HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY

“She who gave you birth will be happy.”  Proverbs 23:25

I am so happy today!  I have two men in my life that I am blessed to call sons. They are my greatest joys! I could not be prouder of  the both of them.  In different ways, they have incredibly big and giving hearts. They might get that from me, but they are just like their dad when it comes to living and working.  They play hard and work even harder!  They make this mama’s heart swell with joy. 

You know, Mother’s Day is supposed to be all about mothers!   I am so very grateful for every mother that I am blessed to do life with. I couldn’t  have done it without them.  I am particularly  thankful my own mother. She is my biggest fan and cheerleader.  I do challenge the fact that Mother’s day is all about mothers because without the kiddos, mothers are not mothers.   Any mom who enjoys celebrating the day would tell you that it is really all about the children. Right?

“No doubt about it!  children are a gift from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a divine reward.” Psalm 127:3

Other than the gift of Jesus, children are the greatest gift!  Here’s to the kids and to Father God who granted us our biggest blessings.  I prayed for my boys and the Lord gave me what I asked from him. So, I gave my boys back to the Lord. As long as they live, they are the Lords (  Samuel 1:27-28).

I enCOURAGE you to be happy today! Mothers enjoy your gifts; your children and children enjoy your mother’s. Neither will always be around.  Appreciate the gifts that God has gifted you with…your mothers and your children.  I do! Love you all!

P.S.  Best thing my son’s have done gifted me with THE BEST daughters!
