“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” 1 John 2:6 (NKJV)
Ouch. This is pretty plain. Right? If we say we abide in Him, Jesus, we are the “he” and should walk always as “He” did.
He who says he abides in Him should himself also walk just as He walked.
He who says he abides in Him should himself also talk just as He talked.
He who says he abides in Him should himself also do just as did.
He who says he abides in Him should himself also pray just as He prayed.
He who says he abides in Him should himself also be thankful just as He was thankful.
He who says he abides in Him should himself also love just as loved.
He who says he abides in Him should himself also live just as He lived.
I enCOURAGE you simply to walk the walk like He did.
