“The Breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.” (Micah 2:13 KJV)
I am so thankful for my praying sisters and my prayer partners. Actually, they are so much more than my sisters and partners. They are warriors filled with wisdom ascending into the high places and releasing breakthrough, bringing down the strongholds of the mighty. (Proverbs 21:22 TPT). Recently in prayer, we were thanking the Lord for the breakthroughs we had seen and praying for additional breakthroughs. Alli declared, “We will not partner with doubt!” Holy Spirit, the Breaker took it from there!
Ezra instructed Israel how to get right with the LORD. They were to make confession to the LORD, do His will and separate themselves from evil (Ezra 10:11 NKJV). The word of God tells us to consecrate, sanctify, separate ourselves, too.
“CONSECRATE yourselves today to the LORD.” (Exodus 32:29 KJV)
Set yourself aside. Set yourself apart.Wholly dedicate, devote, and declare your soul, mind, heart, and body to God.
“SANCTIFY yourselves: for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.” (Joshua 3:5 KJV)
Clean up. Get yourself together. Be pure. Show and make yourself ready. Separate and set yourself apart for God’s use.
“Come out from among them and BE SEPARATE, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” (2 Corinthians 6:17 NKJV)
Set yourself apart for a purpose. Set boundaries.
We have to separate or break-up with the things of the world that are not good and are not God’s. Our eternal partner in life should be the Lord, His will, His way, and His word. We either partner with God and good, or we partner with the evil.
Holy Spirit encouraged me through Alli’s prayer that there were some things I must break up with to see my breakthrough. I needed to break up with the liars named: Doubt, Never, Mr. Fear of Failing Again, Sir “I Can’t,” the Prince of Procrastination, and the Whiny “Why is this so Hard.” Who do you need to break up with so that you can wholly partner with the Lord, the King of Kings, the Faithful, the Always, the Prince of Peace? The Lord is the partner who tells us that we can do all things through Him and nothing without Him. He is the one who says: “Behold, I [am] the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV). In 1 Chronicles 14:11 and 2 Samuel 5:20, David calls Him the Lord of BREAKTHROUGHS.
“So, David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore, he called the name of that place Baal Perazim.” (2 Samuel 5:20 NKJV) Watch this! The Hebrew word for break though is pāraṣ. Its various meanings infer that the Lord is:
The LORD of the BREAK
The LORD of the BREAK OVER
The LORD of the BURST OUT
The LORD of the BREAK OPEN
The LORD of the BREAK AWAY
The LORD of the BREAK DOWN
The LORD of the BREAK-UP
He not only is the LORD of the BREAKTHROUGH, but also the LORD of the BREAK-UP! In fact, according to Micah, He is the BREAKER.
“The Breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them. (Micah 2:13 KJV)
The LORD helped Israel through obstacles that were in the way of their return and deliverance. He went before them and led them to break up and pass through boldly, courageously, and resolutely. Our Lord has come up before us to break down all opposition and clear the way for us to do the same. Jesus is our partner. He goes before us, walks beside and even covers our back. He delivered us. He is our Breaker that made a way when the way seemed impassable and impossible.
I enCOURAGE you to partner with the LORD of the BREAKTHROUGH, the Breaker, and break up with what is holding you back! As Alli told me, in the “hold back” is tension, like a rubber band. I saw the Lord cutting though the rubber band and the end result of flying, being catapulted and ultimately freedom. Break up with the doubts, fears, and evils of the world. Partner with the Lord of the BREAKTHROUGH and watch Him do what only He can do–BREAKTHROUGH!
“Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (James 4:8 NIV)
