“For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” (Jeremiah 31:25 KJV)
To be honest my tank was a little empty. I wanted to crawl back in bed and stay for a while. Instead, I chose to exercise my faith and arise. Thankfully, our everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor grows weary. (Isaiah 40:28) He filled me up.
To the thirsty soul, He gives a large drink, a “Big Gulp”
To the dry soul, He irrigates the barren land of your heart.
To the dehydrated soul, He is the Living water.
To the bone-dry soul, He soaks.
To the craving soul, He abundantly satisfies.
To the withered soul, He drenches.
To the exhausted, empty soul, He fills up to overflowing.
To the melting soul, He makes whole.
To the withering soul, He refills.
To the pining soul, He fills the vacant space.
To the faint soul, He restores.
To the sinking soul, He abundant supplies.
To the yearning, He refreshes.
To the languishing soul, He completes.
I enCOURAGE you to go to the Lord if you are running on empty. Let the power of His word fill you up. He alone can satiate and replenish your weary soul.
