Since December 31, 2020, Holy Spirit has planted me in the book of Isaiah. It took 78 days to go through the first time. I asked the Lord to help me share what He taught me along that journey. Little did I know that Holy Spirit would lead me on an 85-day journey back through Isaiah, a second time. I have never meditated on one book of the Bible for so long. If you look back over the encouragements for the last couple of months, we have walked through the book of Isaiah, chapter by chapter, with a few Holy Spirit led detours.
I said, “I will” to the leading of the Spirit to journey through Isaiah and in return, the Lord repeatedly revealed Himself to me. One theme that emerged along the way is the numerous times in Isaiah that the Lord said, “I will.” Read on and be encouraged by His will’s.
I will strengthen you.
I will help you.
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 NKJV)
I will hold your right hand. (Isaiah 41: 13 NKJV)
I will help you. (Isaiah 41:14 NKJV)
I will open rivers in desolate heights and fountains in the midst of the valleys.
I will make the wilderness a pool of water and the dry land springs of water.
I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia tree, the myrtle and the oil tree. I will set in the desert the cypress tree, the pine and the box tree together (Isaiah 41:18-19 NKJV)
I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people.
I will give You as a light to the Gentiles. (Isaiah 42:6)
I will lay waste the mountains and hills.
I will make the rivers coastlands.
I will dry up the pools.
I will bring the blind by a way they did not know.
I will lead them in paths they have not known.
I will make darkness light before them.
I will make crooked places straight.
I will do for this and I wil not forsake them. (Isaiah 42:15-16 NKJV)
I will be with you when you pass through the deep waters and through the rivers. I will be with you when you walk through the fire. You will not be burned nor scorched. I will bring your descendants from the east and gather you from the west (Isaiah 43:2,5 NKJV)
I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19)
I will blot out your transgressions for My own sake.
I will not remember your sins. (Isaiah 43: 25 NKJV)
I will pour water on him who is thirsty and floods on the dry ground.
I will pour My Spirit on your descendants and My blessing on your offspring. (Isaiah 44:3)
I will raise up her waste places; (Isaiah 44:26 NKJV)
I will go before you and make the crooked places straight.
I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. (Isaiah 45:2)
I will direct all his ways. (Isaiah 45:13)
I will carry you even to gray hairs and old age.
I will bear you.
I will carry and will deliver you. (Isaiah 46:4)
I will do all My pleasure. (Isaiah 46:10)
I will also bring to pass what I have spoken and have purposed.
I will also do it. (Isaiah 46:11 NKJV)
I will give Jesus as a light to the Gentiles to be My salvation to the end of the earth. (Isaiah 49:6)
I will make My mountains a road and My highways shall be elevated. (Isaiah 49:11)
I will not forget you. (Isaiah 49: 15)
I will contend with him who contends with you.
I will save your children. (Isaiah 49:25 NKJV)
I will make My justice rest as a light of the peoples. (Isaiah 51:4)
I will have mercy on you with everlasting kindness. (Isaiah 54:8)
I will make an everlasting covenant with you. (Isaiah 55:3)
I will give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters. I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off. (Isaiah 56:5)
I will heal him.
I will also lead him.
I will restore comforts to him. (Isaiah 57: 18)
I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth. (Isaiah 58:14)
I will glorify the house of My glory. (Isaiah 60:7)
I will make the place of My feet glorious. (Isaiah 60:13)
I will direct their work in truth
I will make with them an everlasting covenant. (Isaiah 61:8)
I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory. (Isaiah 66:18)
I enCOURAGE you with the “will” of God. If the LORD says “I will” in His word, you can take it to the bank that it is His will for your life. If you are searching for the will of God, this is not an all-inclusive list, but it is a great start! Hope you enjoy His “I WILLS” from Isaiah as much as I do.
