MOVING MOUNTAINS:  AN ANSWER TO PRAYER

by Tammy Phillips
May 20, 2021

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. “Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive [them], and you will have [them]. (Mark 11:23-24 NKJV)

I am blessed to be one of six women who meet each week via zoom to Cover Tennessee in Prayer.   We literally cover the state from North to South and East to West. We are from Memphis, Clarksville (a little north of Nashville), Knoxville and Chattanooga.   We formed to cover our communities, our cities, our state and the leaders of Tennessee and our great nation in prayer.  There is a lot that goes on in our state and nation.  We pray over anything and everything that Holy Spirit leads us to pray over including family and friends. We “come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16 NKJV)

We believe the Mountain Mover!  We pray for mountains to be moved. We believe for mountains to be moved and we see mountains moved.

Usually, what we pray about stays between our ears and God’s.  I am sharing this prayer request and answer for three reasons.  The number one reason is to encourage all to spend time talking to our heavenly Father.  He wants to talk to you and He wants you to talk with Him. The Lord is our Helper and our Deliverer.  “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I [will be] with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him(Psalm 91:15 NKJV).  His word also says, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV)

Secondly, the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17: “Pray without ceasing.”  Prayer is an act of obedience.  We pray according to and in obedience to the word of God.

Third, the word of the Lord says in James 3:2. “You do not have because you do not ask.” (James 4:2 NKJV)  Our group believes God’s word.  We believe the God of impossible makes all things possible.   We take Him at His word when He says:

“Behold, I [am] the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? (Jeremiah 32:27 NKJV)

“For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37 NKJV)

“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26 NKJV)

“I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. (Job 42:2 NKJV)

“So Jesus said to them, ‘Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you’”. (Matthew 17:20 NKJV

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things [are] possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23 NKJV)

“Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.”(Isaiah 59:1 NKJV)

Yesterday, like many days in Cover Tennessee, our prayers were that eyes would be opened.  One of our group, Kristi, was on vacation.  She did not hear our petitions. This is what happened next…

11:15 AM:   Prayer ended.

11:22 AM:   I called Kristi.

11:59 AM:   I was still talking to Kristi and a group text came in from another member of our team, Jo.  Her husband has dementia and usually sits by her side while we pray.  He had walked off during prayer.  She could not find him and had called the police to assist.  Kristi and I stopped what we were doing and prayed.  Kristi, who had not been at prayer, offered this simple prayer: “Lord, open Mike’s eyes so that he can find His way back home.”  Everyone else sent praying hand emojis.

12:03 PM:  I texted Jo in faith to please let us know when he was found.

12:05 PM:  Unbeknown to Kristi’s prayer, Jo texted OPEN MY EYES DEAR LORD.  (She was trying desperately to find her lost husband.  We were all praying the same.)

12:07 PM:  I shared Kristi’s prayer with the group.

12:17 PM:  Jo texted, “He will be found. To God be the glory.  Thank you, Father.  He is in your hands.”

12:23 PM:  Jo texted, “Dad just called.  Mike is walking up the drive.”

My response, Mike’s eyes were opened and he found his way home.  “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.” (Jeremiah 32:17 NKJV)

This is a story that you might have heard on the 5 0’clock news if Mike was still missing.  You are only hearing it now because I wanted to brag on God, give Him the glory due and encourage all to pray always.  We asked and God answered in about 24 minutes.  I can only hope that every answer would come that fast and with the ending we pray for.  However, they do not, but it does not change the faithfulness of God.  He is faithful all the time.

I thank God that “He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us!” (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV)

I enCOURAGE you to talk to the Lord about everything.  Ask Him anything.  He can take it and He can make it…happen.  He is God.  He is the Mountain Mover.  He is the Eye Opener.  He is the Savior in all things.  Glory to His name!

“FOR INFINITE GOODNESS WE OFFER MEASURELESS THANKS”

by Tammy Phillips
May 19, 2021

We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near. (Psalm 75:1 NKJV)

As I have said many times before, my God makes me laugh.  He has brought me to this verse repeatedly over the past few days.  My small brain kept wondering why.  It was simple and I was trying to make it hard.

My brother in Christ, Charles Spurgeon said it best and helped me see, “As the smiling flowers gratefully reflect in their lovely colors the various constituents of the solar ray, so should gratitude spring up in our hearts after the smiles of God’s providence. For infinite goodness there should be measureless thanks.”

Think of it like this. We do not shower our children with gifts and crazy parties, even at age one, because we want their thanks.  We pour out our blessings on them for one reason alone.  We love them beyond measure and want the very best for them.  Is a thank you required, no but a grateful heart is.  How much does it bless our heart when a simply thank you is offered or you hear the precious voice of your baby saying, “Thank you Mommy!  Thank you, Daddy!”

God is good all the time. His name is near!  His name is near.  He is not a God that is far off.  He chooses to make His home in us. He blesses us exceedingly and abundantly above what we could even ask.  How much more does He deserve our thanks?  Sadly, we should not even have to be reminded to give thanks.  It should be never ceasing.

His great, wondrous, things too high, things too hard, things too marvelous and miraculous; things surpassing, extraordinary works declare, count and recount, number, scribe, scratch and scrape, score with a mark as a record His works.  His amazing creations keep tracks.  How much more should we?

The drops of rain that makes the grass almost glowing green should not shout their thank you’s louder than us. The beautiful flowers that dot the earth with their magnificent colors from heaven should never out shout our thanks.  The snow-capped mountains that seem like they have already entered heaven and have advantage over us because they seem closer to God, their praise and gratefulness should not reach Him before ours.  The seas that always sounds a constant roar should not thunder its thanks louder than ours.

Guess what? Children and grandchildren are His miraculous miracles.   We are one of the Father’s wonderous works. We must declare His amazing accomplishments.

I enCOURAGE you to stop many times throughout your day and give Him thanks. Be appreciative.  Be grateful.  “We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks!”  We keep score of all you great achievements and You win.  Thank You!  Thank You!  Thank You for all things, great and small!  We thank you for the things you do too amazing to even comprehend!  Sincerely, Thank You and for Your infinite goodness we offer You measureless thanks.

A HEART CHECK UP

by Tammy Phillips
May 18, 2021

For the iniquity of his covetousness, I was angry and struck him; I hid and was angry, and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart. (Isaiah 57:17 NKJV)

The Lord was talking about His people in this verse and their idolatry.  I know it is kind of a different verse for an encouragement, but it was the last phrase in the verse that rang by bell. “He went on backsliding in the way of his heart.”

In February of this year, my stepfather who I was estranged from, but had made peace with in 2015, passed.  I was told that he died from “inoperable heart issues” which had been aggravated by covid.  I hope that in the end of his life he had dealt with his spiritual heart issues.   After reading this verse and meditating the cause of my stepfathers death, Holy Spirit led me to the Great Physician fora heart check-up.   I do not want to die of “inoperable heart issues” in spirit or body.  At that time, I was still back sliding in my eating.  I knew better.  I had just not surrendered my whole heart or mouth  to the Lord.

The Great Physician has the very best bedside manners.  He is loving, kind, gracious and merciful.  There is no condemnation in His voice for what we should have done.  His immediate diagnosis followed in the next verses of Isaiah 57:

18 I have seen his ways and will heal him; I will also lead him and restore comforts to him and to his mourners. 19 “I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to [him who is] far off and to [him who is] near,” Says the LORD, “And I will heal him.”

Jehovah Rapha spoke right to my heart at this visit.  I heard Him say:

I have seen your ways.  I am there with you, beside you, in front of you, behind you and covering you.  I am always with you.

I will HEAL YOU
I will cure, mend, stitch, repair, and restore.
I will make you whole.

I will LEAD YOU.
I will guide, transport, and straiten you.
I will lead you back to Me and My way.

I will RESTORE COMFORT TO YOU.
I will be at peace and live-in peace with you.
I will repay, reward, and recompense
I will complete and finish.
I will completely console you.

PEACE.PEACE.
COMPLETE. COMPLETE.
WHOLE. WHOLE.
HEALED. HEALED.

If you have been far off and have back slidden, or if you have been near and following me.

I WILL HEAL YOU.

What caring and  comforting words from the Great Physician Who always has ears to hear.  He always loves us right where we are.  He is there to pick up the pieces of our brokenness and sew our hearts back together, whole, healed, and complete.

I enCOURAGE you to go the Great Physician for a heart check-up.  You will not regret it.  I promise you will feel so much better after your visit.  Follow His instructions and you will be whole, healed, and complete.

HAPPY MAY! HAPPY POSSIBILITIES!

by Tammy Phillips
May 17, 2020

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23 NKJV)

I did not have an encouragement prepared ahead for today.  I have told the Lord if you have nothing to say, it will not be said.  After about three hours of seeking the Lord and hearing many things and nothing for sure, I was about to quote my pastor. “READ YOUR BIBLE. DO WHAT IT SAYS and be done for the day.

I looked out my window and saw the gray sky.  I immediately heard the beloved song lyric that have sung so many times at the top of my lungs make a run through my mind. “I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day.  When it’s cold outside, I’ve got the month of May.”   A slight smile crossed my face.  We do have the whole month of May.  It is a great month.  It is when the April showers leave, the cold weather makes it exit and the beautiful and plentiful May flowers start blooming.  It is a month of homemade ice cream and fresh picked strawberries.   It is the month schools end and vacations begin.  It a month of possibilities by virtues of its own name.

The word “may” means to be possible; to have physical power; to be able; to have moral power; to have liberty, leave, license or permission; to be permitted; to be allowed.  May is used in prayer and petitions to express desire.  May is used to express good will.

May your May be full.  “The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ‘ (Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV)

I enCOURAGE you to let May be your month where all things are possible.  Believe it! See it!  Watch it happen.   Take your liberty.  You are permitted to live out your best life.  Express good will to all men.  Eat homemade ice cream and fresh strawberries.  HAPPY MAY!  Happy possibilities.

YOU NEVER KNOW

by Tammy Phillips
May 16, 2021

Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. (Psalm 56:3-4 NKJV)

You never know if you will marry.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know if you will become a parent.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know if you will be a good parent.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know the exact moment that your child will make its entrance.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know when your child will take its first steps.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know when your child will say its first words.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know how your child will do in school.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know if your child will graduate from high school.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know what your child will become.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know if your child will graduate from college, go to trade school, or the ministry.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know when your child will truly fly from the nest.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know who your child will fall in love with or not.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know when or who your child may marry.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know when you will be sitting quietly by your child or spouse and the next day, they make their exit.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
You never know but God does.  He knows you.  He knows your child.  Our stories are written in His book.

You have examined my heart and know everything about me. 2 You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. 3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. 4 You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD. 5 You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! … 13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous–how well I know it. 15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. 16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. 17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! 18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! (Psalm 139:1-6, 13-18 NLT)

I enCOURAGE you.  Whenever you are afraid, trust in Him.  You never know but God does.  As your child leaves the nest and begin a new life, I encourage you further with the words of David.  Repeat after him.  “In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?”  Put your praise on and take comfort in knowing that although you never know, God knows.

JESUS LOVES YOU

by Tammy Phillips
May 15, 2021

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. (John 15:9)

I told my husband, Kris last night on our drove home, that my encouragement today may be only three words, “Jesus loves you.”   They are the three most important words in the world.  Meditate on them. Know you are loved.

Here is a love letter to you from God’s word:

My Dear Child:

You are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you… Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.  I showed this love to you in that while you were still A sinner, Christ died for you.  I loved you and this world so much that I gave my only Son, that whoever, and that is you, believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.  I am rich in mercy, because of the great love with which I have loved you, even when you were dead in your trespasses, I have made you alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—

In this is love, not that you have loved Me but that have  loved you and sent My Son to be the pay for all your wrongs and by this know love, that Jesus laid down his life for you.   You have come to know and to believe the love that I have for you because I am love… See what kind of love the I have given to you, that we should be called My children of God; and so you are.

Know that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate you from my love in Christ Jesus your Lord.

My steadfast love endures forever and never ceases,

Abba

(Isaiah 43:4John 15:13, Romans 5:8, John 3:16, Ephesians 2:4-5, 1 John 4:10, 1 John 3:16,  John 4:16 ,  Romans 8:39, 1 John 3:1, Psalm 136:26, Lamentations 3:22)

I enCOURAGE you with the words of Ephesians 3:17-19.  It is my prayer for you today:

I pray that… “Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” AMEN.  JESUS LOVES YOU!

TAKE GOD AT HIS WORD

by Tammy Phillips
May 14, 2021

So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; it will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11 AMP)

The Word of God says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9 NKJV)

The Lord said it. His word is not an empty promise. It accomplishes.  We believe it.  It is done.
We are saved when we say… Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God was raised from the dead.
Take God at His Word: WE ARE SAVED

The Word of God says, “Fear not, for I [am] with you; Be not dismayed, for I [am] your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10 NKJV)

The Lord said it. His word is not an empty promise. It accomplishes.  We believe it.  It is done.
He says, “Fear not. He will help and uphold.”
Take God at His Word: DO NOT FEAR.  HE IS OUR HELP.

The Word of God says, “by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV)

The Lord said it. His word is not an empty promise. It accomplishes.  We believe it.  It is done.
Take God at His Word: WE ARE HEALED.

The Word of God says, “You are complete in Him.” (Colossians 2:10 NKJV)

The Lord said it. His word is not an empty promise. It accomplishes.  We believe it.  It is done.
Take God at His Word: WE ARE COMPLETE

God’s word is…

  • Powerful
  • True
  • Faithful
  • Fulfilling
  • Working
  • Accomplishing
  • Performing
  • Prospering
  • Healing
  • Life Giving

I enCOURAGE you take God at His Word, every time and in every situation.   The Lord said it. His word is not an empty promise.  It accomplishes.  We believe it.  It is done.  Allow the Lord to work on your behalf.

“God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 (Amplified)

GOING THE WRONG WAY? TURN AROUND!

by Tammy Phillips
May 13, 2021

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:7 KJV)

How safe do you feel driving down a one-way street, the wrong way?  When the mistake is discovered, what is the first thought?  Find a way to turn around to avoid running into an oncoming vehicle.   We innately know right from wrong.  I have known for a long time that I needed to get off the backroads of wrong food choices and align my thoughts about eating the right way.  It is only when I return to God and surrender going my own way that I make gains in the weight loss area. Thank God for good directions that help us reach our destiny.

When we forsake the one-way, wrong way, road of ultimate destruction and change our thoughts, God is not there waiting with a ticket and a fine.  Yes, there are consequences for going the wrong direction and for thinking the wrong way, BUT GOD…

When we finally turn around and choose the right way, we find His mercy and abundant pardon.

Do you hear the Lord’s heart?  “Turn around.  Turn to me.”   The thoughts of “I can do it all by myself or I am going to do it my own way” are what lead us into troubled territory.  The Lord says: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV)

When we turn God’s way, He shows us the way.  He directs us onto His Highway and into His way of righteous thinking.  Our lives literally turn around when we choose His way. The word “Higher” in Isaiah 55:8-9 literally means to soar.

Isaiah 40:31 (NLT) explains it like this: “But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”   I don’t know about you, but I would rather soar than fearfully continue going the wrong way.

I enCOURAGE you to turn around.  Turn to God in every area of your life.  If you saw a friend going down a one-way street, the wrong way, wouldn’t you do everything in your power to get them to turn around?  I am on that street with you.  I am jumping up and down trying to get your attention.  Can you hear me yelling, “TURN AROUND?”  Can you hear the Lord begging you to turn to Him?  If you don’t like the direction your life, your marriage, your relationship, your job, or weight is going, I encourage you to turn to God.  Mercy is waiting for you. A soaring life is waiting for you.

RESORT TO THE LORD

by Tammy Phillips
May 12, 2021

Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6 NKJV)

Have you ever visited a place and you did not want to leave? I confess.  If Kris and I did not have children, we would probably still be on Bora Bora somewhere chasing chickens off the road and selling coconut drinks to tourist.  I cannot describe in words how beautiful the sea and sand were.  The peace we felt was unimaginable.  We just came back from beaches along 30A in Florida.  I emphatically told a friend that I was not coming back.  I was beach happy and did not want to leave.

Beach happy is a temporary state of mind.  It is when we resort to the seaside and leave all cares behind.  Time does not matter.  Sorrows and worry easily flee.  Family, friends, and foes slide to the back of the mind.   The beach is my happy place.

However, the happiness provided by seeking out the sea is only temporary.   In Matthew 6, Jesus asks why do we worry about clothes, food, or drink?  He declares in verse 25, “Do not worry about your life.”  What does He tell us to DO?

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day [is] its own trouble. (Matthew 6:33-34 NKJV)

Isaiah gives us the same advice, “Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6 NKJV) However, the Hebrew meaning of seek is a bit richer than that of the Greek word used in Matthew 6.  The Greek word is zēteō and it means to look to find, to inquire and require.  The Hebrew word for seek is daras. The idea intended is also to seek with care, enquire, require, but also to resort to; go to a place; to tread or frequent a place; to beat a path to.

It is ok to go to a resort and get away for a while. However, the Lord wants to be our go to.   He wants us to seek Him out.  He wants to be our First Resort and not our last.  He wants to be the place we frequent.  He wants us to beat a path to Him.

As I have stated repeatedly, I love the beach.  I am not too picky.  I like any beach.   My very favorite place is in the presence of the Lord each morning.  He is my Resort.  He is your Resort.  He is where we can find…

Love incomprehensible
Peace that passes understanding,
Healing when we are hurt
Rest when we are weary
Guidance when we do not know which way to go and
So much more.

Now, if I can hang out with the Lord at the beach, I cannot imagine heaven being any better, but I know it will be.  One of my sisters and I joke about having our places in heaven, beside each other on the sea of glass, like crystal.  I cannot wait to see what John tried to  describe in Revelations 4:6.

I enCOURAGE you to resort to the Lord.  I guarantee that you will find what you are looking for because He is everything.  He is patient, kind, full of mercy and long suffering.  Call on Him.  He will answer.  Don’t wait too long.  He gives us chance after chance to come to Him.  However, one day we will either die or He will come back and then there are no more second chances.   Resort to Him.  It will be the best trip of your life.  Most of us cannot frequent the sea every day, but we can come to the Lord, the Living Water and experience all that He is.   Resort to the Lord.

“HO!  IT’S FREE! COME AND GET IT.”

by Tammy Phillips
May 11, 2021

Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy, and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. 2 Why do you spend money for [what is] not bread, and your wages for [what] does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat [what is] good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. 3Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live.  (Isaiah 55:1-3 NKJV)

We love to hear the words, “It’s free.”   We like free samples at the grocery store. We like free breakfast at hotels.  We like free gifts with purchase.  Last night, I went to a hockey game.  We were offered a free signed poster and bobble head.  Then when we left, we were handed a bag full of free stuff.  One very wise woman said, “What do I need with another bobble head?” I laughed and thought, “but it’s a free gift.  I am taking it.”

How often do we pass up what Jesus so freely paid for?  Why should God Almighty, King of Kings, Creator of All, have to even utter the word, “HO,” to us?   Yet, He does.  Why should he have to remind us what He freely gives to everyone?  Yet, He does.  Why should He have to ask us to hear and come to Him?  Yet, He does…over and over and over again.

How many times do we thirst, hunger, and desperately ask others to pray for us?  Do we even know we are thirsty?  Do we know that we are hungry for what food will not supply?  The Lord has every answer to our thirst and hunger.

He says in Isaiah 55, COME!

Come!  Everyone who is thirsty.  You have your choice, water, wine, or milk.
It is free.
Come!  Everyone who is hungry.  Eat what is good!
It is free.

Why do we spend money on a myriad of water and have five different types of bread in our pantry?  They will not satisfy that emptiness we feel in our life.  They will not fulfil us.   God provides all that we need, but we have to come to Him to receive it.  He says, “Come to Me.  Listen to Me.  Incline your ear to Me. Turn to me.   Eat what is good.  I am Good.  Let your soul delight itself in the abundance I provide.”

In Isaiah 55:3, the Lord says, “Hear Me and your soul shall live.”

Do you hear Him?

Hear Me!  Your soul shall live.
Come to Me.  Your soul shall be revived.
Hear Me!  Your soul shall recover.
Come to Me.  Your soul will be repaired.
Hear Me!  Your soul shall be restored.
Come to Me!   Your soul will flourish.
Hear Me!  Your soul will heal.
Come to Me!  Your soul will breathe again.

I enCOURAGE you to come to Him when your soul is so thirsty that you feel like you cannot continue.  Listen to Him.  Get into His word and be fed the Bread of Life and drink from the Living Water.   Heller?  Ho!  It is free.  It is life.  Come.  There is no catch.
