“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.” (Psalm 107:20; 147:3 NKJV)
In the ancient art of “kintsugi,” which means golden repair, or joined with gold, a broken vessel is mended with lacquer mixed and with powdered gold. The cracks are not hidden but highlighted. The kintsugi artist repairs each crack with gold, transforming what was once shattered into something more beautiful, more exquisite, and more valuable than before. The finished masterpiece is more resilient and much stronger than before.
This art mirrors the loving heart of Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you (Exodus 15:26).
Every golden line tells a story—not of what was lost, but of what was redeemed.
When our spirit feels fractured by pain, loss, or disappointment, God does not discard us. Instead, He bends down in love, mercy, and grace, beginning His work of magnificent restoration. He gathers every shattered piece of our lives and seals them and gold-fills them together with His Word, His Holy Spirit super glue.
“The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul…More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold.” (Psalm 19:7,10 NKJV)
His Word is the healing balm that restores our soul. Every promise, every truth spoken by Holy Spirit is like liquid gold flowing into cracks of our lives with the richness of divine truth, turning pains into purpose and wounds into witness. There is just something mesmerizing about liquid gold. It glows. It flows. It is alive with light. It moves with power and beauty, filling every space it touches.
That is what the Word of God is like!
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword…” (Hebrews 4:12 NKJV)
God’s Word is not static ink on a page. IT IS ALIVE! It flows from His heart, full of life and light, carrying His healing power wherever it goes. When it enters our hearts, it fills the cracks of pain and hurt like liquid gold.
When we open the Bible, we are not just reading God’s words. We are standing under the flow of living gold, streaming from heaven’s throne. And as it flows, it heals, restores, and shines through us.
“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” (Psalm 119:130 KJV)
When Jehovah Rapha heals, He doesn’t simply make us as good as new. He makes us gold-filled, better than before! We become whole, healed, and complete. We are stronger, wiser, and radiant with His glory. Our golden scars become stories of His goodness and grace; our pain becomes places where His presence shines the brightest.
Like a kintsugi masterpiece, we become living testimonies that brokenness is not the end! It is only the beginning of beauty in the Master’s hands.
If you feel fractured, fragile, beyond repair…
I enCOURAGE you to remember you are in the care of the Master Artist, the Creator of the World. His Word is the gold that fills and mends.
His love is the light that illuminates the once broken places, revealing a beauty made whole.
He IS Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals you. He is the Word who transforms you. He is the One who makes you whole, healed, and complete in Him. (Col. 2:10)
Remember…Your gold-filled cracks are not your shame. They are the places where God’s glory radiantly shines through.
Jehovah Rapha, Thank You for being the God who heals. Father, let Your Word flow through me like living, liquid gold. Take the broken pieces of my heart and mend them with the gold of Your Word. Fill the cracks in my life with Your light and truth. Let Your promises fill every scar with Your presence and peace. Refine me, renew me, and let Your living Word shine through me. May my life reflect the beauty of Your restoration, a heart full and fractured-filled. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dearest Tammy,o
This is one of the best blogs you have written! I couldn’t help but remember how creative you have been since a very young age., but cannot recall when I first recognized it. In retrospect, I recognized your unyielding determination to do something you had never done before and to utilize directions, but challenge them with your touch. The mess you made was inconsequential; the end product was your focus.
God’s gift of creativity in you is used by you so beautifully. You paint a picture of God’s Word expressing Who He is to the nations/gentiles. From the beginning, God knew how you would grow and develop. Your interest in art was simply following the path which He created in you. Your words express God’s Word through an artist’s mind, painting a picture of Who He is. How very beautiful is the word of God expressed through you!! You create a masterpiece.
Again, I say how proud I am of you. All the years of searching and seeking for “something” have achieved their mission in you. You have discovered your destiny in Christ Jesus. Your quest to serve God and know His plans and purposes for your life is evident.
Thank you for being obedient to God and seeking endlessly, warring with the enemy, courageous in battle, determined to not give up, determined to achieve, forgoing life’s pleasures, to reach the goal set before you. You are a warrior, a champion in the army of God. Your words go far and near. They bless the ears that “hear” them. They encourage, mend the broken heart, set free the captive, and always point to Jesus.
Keep on keeping on until the end. Your prize will be worth it all. Your reward is great.
I love you very much, Mom
